Reward-Era Grouping:
Groups the halving eras by unit scale to sense when rewards cross meaningful thresholds of precision.
The 360° Block-Height Calendar:
A circular calendar that lets you feel time as the chain grows.
The Mathematics of Bittensor and dTAO:
A quiet corridor of equations drawn from the Bittensor and dTAO whitepapers.
The Network’s Milestones:
Whitepapers, geneses, listings, dTAO activation — each dated.
Firsts on the Ledger:
First TAO transfer and first subnet registration, exactly as on-chain.
The Maths Ribbon:
Halving law; Yuma weights → emission; dTAO injection/extraction.
TAO per Day/per Year:
TAO per day, per year, per block—one subsidy, three timeframes.
Bittensor Quotations:
The sculpture’s voice. Four short quotations capturing a facet of Bittensor’s idea.
Block Reward by Halving Era:
TAO per block through the eras, printed to nine decimals.
Yearly Block Heights:
Block height at the start of every year—time’s odometer.
The Subnet Atlas:
128 markets for intelligence, each numbered and branded.
Binary Easter Eggs:
Four secret messages, rendered as nothing but zeros and ones.
Issuance by Era:
How much TAO each era mints (10.5M in Era 1; half thereafter).
The Wheel of Time:
Halving eras shrink by half—scarcity made visible.
Bittensor Block Stats:
The fixed rules — 12 s blocks, halving thresholds, tempo, Yuma, dTAO activation, chain lineage.
About the Work
This is not a poster. It is a chronometer, a precision layout where every ring teaches a rule: ~12-second blocks; tempo at 360; halving eras and per-era issuance; yearly block heights; three clocks for subsidy (day, year, block); binary easter eggs; an atlas of 128 subnets (a snapshot of the subnets in November 2025); genesis and milestone inscriptions; and a center medallion where the TAO sigil becomes an event horizon.
The composition you’re buying is the result of an obsessive build: labels proofed at micro-type sizes, vector curves tuned to hold at museum-grade print resolutions, and dozens of iterations to balance legibility with symbolism.
One object. Sixteen rings. Thousands of hours.
The TAO Chronometer is a hand-built, wall-scale portrait of the Bittensor network, its cadence, halvings, subnets, and firsts translated into geometry and engraved type. It is the most detailed physical interpretation of Subtensor ever produced.
Edition
128 prints (one for every subnet)
Payment
TAO only (Ships worldwide)
Price
10 TAO (fixed, regardless of TAO price)
Why only 128?
Because Bittensor’s economy is organised around 128 subnets - 128 markets for intelligence. The edition will never exceed that number.
The Price and Print
The price is always 10 TAO. Whether we sell five pieces or a hundred, your cost in TAO is the same. The edition size and our fixed price reflect the high cost to “canvas it up nicely” - archival printing, finishing, packing - and the time that went into building the piece. Fewer pieces sold means fewer in circulation.
Our floating framed canvas prints are made to a high standard: vivid, long-lasting giclée prints on heavy cotton canvas, neatly stretched over precision kiln‑dried stretcher bars with clean, tight corners and a quality outer frame that creates the floating effect. Each piece arrives carefully packed and ready to hang, built to look great and last.
